Frequently Asked Questions
How many nights can I stay minimum?
A: We have a minimum of 2 night stay in keeping with our cabin cleaning staff's rosters.
Do you have a maximum stay limit or do you offer good rates for long stay?
A: Please talk to us about your long-stay requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you at an affordable rate.
Can I reserve a few cabins and pay later when I decide dates?
A: We ask that you pay a small deposit upon booking and pay remaining amount upon departure. This is to be fair to all our guests due to the popularity of the cabins.
Can I pay online?
A: Yes you can book via the AirBnB website. Or call /phone us direct.
How much does it cost to stay for 2 nights? Are the villas all the same?
A: Please visit the "Bookings" link on this website for current tariffs.
Is there much to do onsite?
A: You can do as much or as little as you like. We are a small, leisure site and there is an abundance of outdoor activities to take part in. Please view our "Location & Surrounds" page for more info on this.
Is smoking allowed on site and in rooms?
A: The cabin interiors are strictly non-smoking areas (cleaning fees apply to guests who disobey this request). Smoking outside is allowed with respect to children in the vicinity. We thank you for understanding.
Can I bring my pet?
A: Please talk to us first by phone or email so we can discuss your needs.
I'm planning a big party with friends and we want to book your cabins out and have the party on site. Is this possible?
A: With notice, we are sure we can assist with this. We encourage memorable experiences and fun times at our site, however due to sensitive wildlife in the area and our close proximity in town, we do ask that you respect and be courteous with sound levels. This is particularly important for guests who are entertaining friends on site while other individual guests have booked cabins and expect a certain tranquility after hours. We like to be flexible with all our guests, so talk to us about your plans and we can assist.
What do we need to bring?
A: The cabins are fully self-contained, so all you need to bring are your grocery supplies if you plan to eat on site (rather than the nearby Bowling Club or Pubs and cafes in town). Apart from that, all you need is your clothing and boat wear, keeping in mind you may need a good pair of walking shoes and sunscreen if you wish to explore the nearby National Park.
We have canoes, bikes and an indoor spas on site, so no need to bring equipment. But do feel free to pack a fishing rod or camera.
Do you have internet on site?
A: This is something we may work toward in the future, however we're sure you won't be needing it once you arrive and see what's on offer. If it's important, we encourage using your own in-phone HotSpots with bluetooth or wifi connections to your laptops. We can also give directions to public internet stations in Mathoura (a 5 minute walk away)
If I am unwell while at Cadell Cabins, is there a hospital nearby?
A: Yes. We can assist you with locating the most conveniently located medical centres in the case of illness and arrange for transportation if needed.
Is there anything else I need to know?
A: We like to keep things nice and simple. For any further enquiries, don't hesitate to call or email us via our "Contact page".
Thanks for your time in reading and we look forward to seeing you at Cadell Cabins!
